The Long Version
Am originally from California and raised in the South-East. Graduated from Murray State University in Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science in Art (emphasis on Design). I worked for ten years in the professional Design / Marketing realm, building my way up to a Creative Director role.
After a brief stint with an ex-partner in Colorado (ahh, life lessons...), I returned to Kentucky.
Upon returning, I began a role at Brinly-Hardy Co. working as a Graphic Designer in the Marketing Department. After two years, an opportunity presented itself within the company to switch gears. I chose to push my career in a new direction, elated by the option to learn 3-D rendering software and work for the very best boss I have ever had.
This promotion redirected my career, channeling through the Engineering department. I've assisted with improvements and new product development across multiple brands. As the sole technical writer on staff, for 4+ years I've written and illustrated the entire library of manuals and technical documentation for all the products we manufacture.
The Future:
Looking forward to learning, creating, leading and evolving. I'm passionate about streamlining processes, making improvements and keeping a close watch over the UX/UI of everything I create.
